Smart readers probably understand by now that this site is about poetry (and therefore
about poets as well). Why have I made this site? Not because there's a lack of poetry sites, not because I can make a better
site than the ones already existing, but just because I feel like making one.
What exactly can you find here? Poems by famous poets, less famous poets and poems by me. Not that
I'm a good poet but I will not deny people the right to read what I've written in the past. But as you probably don't care
about my efforts I won't force them down your throat.
Also you will find explanations of poems on this site. I am planning to post definitions of genre's
of poetry on this site later but that doesn't have priority.
I steal almost everything from other sites so there's nothing here that's really special. My only
intention is to satisfy my wish to make such a site. I don't claim my site is adding something to the internet. I have
made a page with links to the sites where I found the poems and where I stole my information so you can look for more there.
What you can do for me? Well, if you think that this site needs to have certain poems then you're
free to email them to me. Please, do not send me your own writings, I don't care about them just as you probably don't care
about mine. Also, advice and constructive criticism is welcome, bashing isn't. If you contact me only to swear at me 'then
you're a big meanie and I won't like you anymore. Then i'll have to run to my mother and cry and I don't want that. Don't
be a prick and enjoy the site.
